FIRMWARE XFIRE-WEB

Version: r100b2

Date: 17/10/2024

Note:
To be paired with the XFIRE control unit with firmware r110a24 or later.

Procedure for Updating the eweb Board

  1. Ensure that the control panel is updated to version 1.00a24 or later.
  2. Configure the network parameters in the control panel.
  3. Using a browser connected to the network where the eweb is located, access http://ip_address/swupgrade, where ip_address is the address configured or provided by the DHCP server.
  4. Click “select file” and enter the name of the update bim file.
  5. Click “upload” and wait for the operation to complete, which may take a few minutes. The browser may not respond during this operation; during this time, only the E LED will be flashing on the board.
  6. The completion of the operation is indicated by the red A LED being lit.

Meaning of LEDs on the Board

  • A (solid red): the board has completed the startup phase and is operational.
  • B (solid green): active Ethernet link.
  • C (solid green): the board is communicating with the control unit.
  • C (flashing green): the board is connected to a 485 bus, but the control unit is not querying it.
  • D (solid green): the board is in a temporary phase of handling programming change; at the end of this phase, it will reset.
  • E (flashing green, other LEDs off): the board is receiving a software update, after which it will restart.
  • E (flashing green, A LED lit): at least one client is connected, but no user has validated.
  • E (solid green, A LED lit): at least one client is connected, with a validated user.

Under normal conditions, the LEDs A, B, and C are lit solidly; the E LED indicates active external connections.

In case of inability to access the configured address (point 3), choose one of the following alternatives:

  1. From a compatible network, use the address 10.2.200.25/24.
  2. By moving DIP switch 1 to ON, force access to the DHCP server.
  3. By moving DIP switch 2 to ON, force the address 192.168.1.67/24.

When the browser accesses the “swupgrade” page (point 3), follow the indicated procedure. After the update is complete, return the DIP switches to OFF; the updated board will follow the configuration of the control unit.
